Great For Making Smoothies

When making a smoothie, vanilla usually works best because it is easy to mix with green vegetables or a piece of fruit to make a whole meal. Read labels to see how much protein powder to use. Check the protein content and use one or more scoops, so you are getting between 15 and 22g of protein in each drink. It’s usually between 1 and 1 1/2 scoops of the powder. You can add your fruit allowances—strawberries, an orange, an apple to the smoothie to make a meal if you wish. Sprinkle with cinnamon or nutmeg if you like. Best of all…make a green smoothie whole ‘meal’ containing 1 to 1 1⁄2 scoops of powder plus your allowance of raw green vegetables. Sweeten with only REAL stevia (see below) and be sure to check that whatever you buy to make smoothies with contains no sugars or artificial sweeteners of any kind, including xylitol.

    100% Whey Gold Standard is my favorite. Fantastic stuff. Chocolate mint is by far the best flavor. Tastes like someone melted down mint ice cream and put it in a powder form lol. Only used it a few times, so I can’t put out anything for results, but I’m sure it’ll please me. AMAZING product, ON.

    I have recently started following the Geno Type Diet by Dr Peter D’Adamo.
    I just found your book ‘Age Power’ in my local library & am finding a lot of similar
    thinking to your suggestions on diet. However there are also some differences.
    Are you familiar with the Geno Type Diet ?
    I am quite confused now, for eg whey powder, being blood group O & Geno type ‘hunter’
    whey powder is a no no.
    Any thoughts that you may have to help me would be great.

    Hi Leslie, I have recently started using live kefir grains with raw milk & have noticed the benefits. I was given about a tablespoon of live culture kefir grains and they have grown so much that I have about 1 cup. Some ladies that I know who have too much kefir grains for their next batch usually chuck out the excess, I was wondering if it is ok to eat the grains for example 1 tablespoon per week?

      I know your dilemma well. I’ve had it myself. No I would not advise you to eat them. See if you can find someone who is interested in making their own kefir, tell them how you do it and make them a present of your extra grains.
